2021 Spring Term Cancelled

SPRING TERM ANNOUNCEMENT

We’re so grateful that we were able to open the doors to our new facility and operate our business for exactly 1 month. When we shut down on May 7th, we were hoping that today we could re-open to resume spring term but given the current state of Manitoba and our healthcare system, we have decided to cancel spring term. All students will receive a credit for the classes that would have been held during May 7th – June 27th. It will take awhile to show up on your account, your patience is much appreciated.

H2O @ Home

Under public health orders 1 (1), 1 (3), 15 (2), 15 (3) and 16 (1) we are NOT allowed to visit residential pools to conduct lessons. H2O @ Home will remain paused for booking lessons until further notice.

SUMMER TERM @ 400 Fort Whyte Way

Our swim school colleagues in Ontario have let us know that under Ontario’s re-opening plan, the earliest indoor pools will be opening is the end of July. Since Manitoba’s numbers are currently the highest in North America and the province doesn’t have a re-opening plan, we don’t anticipate opening before August 2021. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide you with an update once the province provides direction around re-opening plans. Stay tuned.

BIG PICTURE

We closed on March 13th, 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit… that was exactly 1 year, 2 months, and 19 days ago. We were fortunate to have operated H2O @ Home in 2020 for 2 months and 13 days and operated in our brand-new facility for exactly 1 month. This means that we’ve been OPEN for 3 months and 13 days and CLOSED for 11 months and 6 days since COVID-19 introduced itself to the world.

As Manitoba citizens and local business owners, we’re asking everyone to please do you part to make this go away.
