floating sound baths

float. exhale. let go.

Join H2O Academy and Open Concept Yoga for an immersive floating sound bath designed to help you slow down, disconnect, and deeply relax. Set inside H2O’s warm water studio after dark, you’ll float on your own bed beneath soft candlelight while Tibetan singing bowls create layers of sound and vibration. The full experience is 90 minutes, including a 60-minute float, with time before and after to get settled and ease on and off the water. No swimming, yoga or sound bath experience is required.

WHAT DOES MY EXPERIENCE INCLUDE?

  • Your own floating bed on H2O’s warm water pool

  • A fresh towel for your floating bed

  • A light blanket and lavender-infused weighted eye mask

  • A guided sound bath featuring traditional Tibetan singing bowls

  • Soft candlelight and ambient lighting throughout the studio

  • Calming music before and after the sound bath

  • Complimentary treats, sips, and samples from a rotating selection of local brands at our Full Moon Market

90 minute total experience | $77 + GST | Ages 16+ | Limited to 14 guests

What to WEAR

The pool area is very warm, so we recommend dressing as minimally and lightly as you’re comfortable with. A swimsuit is a great option, or choose lightweight clothing you wouldn’t mind getting a little wet. We do not recommend sweaters or heavy layers. Our floating beds are designed to keep you above the water, but you may get a little wet. We’ll provide a towel, light blanket, and weighted eye mask. You may also wish to bring your own towel for afterward.

faq

  • Who can attend? Our floating sound baths are designed for guests ages 16+.

  • Do I need to know how to swim? No. You’ll be relaxing on a floating bed rather than swimming.

  • What is the size of the floating bed and is there a weight limit? Our floating beds are 10 ft long and 3.3 ft wide, and have been tested to comfortably support up to 400 lbs. With more weight, the bed naturally sits lower in the water which may allow more water on to the bed. We recommend wearing a swimsuit or light clothing that you’re comfortable getting wet.

  • Will I get wet? You might! The floating beds are designed to keep you above the water, although the occasional splash is always possible.

  • Do I need to bring anything? Just yourself! We provide everything you need for the experience. You may choose to bring an additional towel and a change of clothes in case you get wet for afterward.

  • Do I need experience with sound baths or yoga? Not at all. This experience is designed for complete beginners and seasoned sound bath lovers alike.

  • How do I get on and off the floating beds? Our team will assist guests at two boarding stations, one with a ladder and one without. Guests who would like a little extra support getting on or off their bed are welcome to use the ladder station.

  • What if I don’t want to use the weighted eye mask? Every comfort element is optional. Make the experience your own and use whatever helps you relax.

  • Is the pool warm? Yes, our pool temperature is 88-90 degrees Fahrenheit and the studio air is also warm.

  • How many people will be there? Each session is intentionally limited to 14 guests, with one floating bed per person.

  • How do I register? Click the registration button below and register online in your H2O account. If you don’t have an account, simply create one! You must register online before the event as spots are limited. Walk-ups are not permitted.

  • What is the cancellation & refund policy? Floating Sound Bath experiences can be refunded or credited when cancelled more than 24 hours before the experience. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking are still eligible for a refund or credit, but a $25 processing fee will apply.

YOUR NIGHT TO EXHALE

Consider this your excuse to book childcare, silence your phone, and leave the rest of the world outside for a little while. Come on your own or bring someone who could use the reset too. We’ll take care of the rest.
