MISS EMILY

Miss Emily is a Teacher at the H2O Academy. She swam competitively with the Winnipeg Synchro Club before leaving to fully pursue her ballet training at the RWB. She has since moved onto dancing with the Senior Professional Program of the School for Contemporary dancers. She has had the opportunity to perform for and be mentored by nationally and internationally renowned choreographers. She is also a certified RAD ballet teacher and enjoys working with children. She has worked as a summer student as the activities coordinator with Lord Roberts Children’s Program. Emily is in her last year at the University of Winnipeg and will graduate with a 4 year BA honours. She plans to continue onto grad school at the University of Manitoba in the field of Architecture. She is a member of the sorority Alpha Phi, Beta Eta chapter, and has participated in numerous philanthropic events raising money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, particularly women’s cardiac care and Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Emily is also an entrepreneur and in order to dispel the “starving artist” moniker has started her own registered baking business specializing in custom decorated cookies for corporate and private events.
