Miss Stefanie is a teacher at H2O Academy. Her love for the water began at a young age, spending summers swimming at her cabin. At seven years old, Stefanie began training with Winnipeg Artistic (synchronized) Swimming. Synchro quickly became her passion as she went on to compete at the high-performance level and represent Manitoba. After retiring from her athletic career, Stefanie redirected her time towards helping younger athletes achieve their goals and build confidence.

Stefanie’s enthusiasm for the social foundations of physical activity led her to pursue a double major in Kinesiology and Psychology. She incorporates techniques from her studies into her teaching to build positive attitudes and support healthy lifestyles. She is excited to share her love of the water and hopes to foster physical literacy in the students she teaches.
