Miss Lindsay is excited to be the new Training and Development Manger at H2O Academy.

Her love of water started at a young age backcountry camping at various lakes and beaches around Manitoba. After university, Miss Lindsay moved away and spent a few years living in Sydney, Australia, spending her time surfing, scuba diving and open ocean swimming the lengths of Bondi beach. She is a certified SSI advanced scuba diver and free diver and spends many summer weekends scuba diving in West Hawk Lake in the Whiteshell. Her love of water and scuba diving adventures have taken her all over the world to spots in Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Hawaii and Costa Rica.

Miss Lindsay holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Manitoba and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Regenerative Sustainability. She previously worked in the non-profit sector delivering education and career guidance to teen moms, helping them make their life dreams a reality.  A hippie at heart, Miss Lindsay spends her spare time with her 3-year-old son, camping, kayaking, hiking and volunteer tree planting.
 

Miss Lindsay also participates as a parent at H2O! Her son Forrest has been swimming with is momma from Baby splash up to Toddler classes. Miss Lindsay knows first hand the joy a parent feels watching their child progress to a competent and confident little swimmer! One of her special skills is helping nervous Toddler and Minis conquer their fear and become comfortable and excited about swimming lessons.
