Kira Eidse is a teacher at the H2O Academy. Kira has enjoyed water sports since she was a small child. She currently plays water polo with the Bushido Water Polo Club and volunteers as a swimming instructor to children with special needs through Manitoba SwimAbility. Kira is in grade 12 at St. James Collegiate. She is a certified Lifeguard, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, and Lifesaving and First Aid Instructor, and has standard first aid and CPR C certifications. In the summer Kira enjoys working at summer camp and doing triathlons. She’s running her third half marathon this fall at the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic half marathon. Kira enjoys mountain biking with the only all-female club in Winnipeg, the Velodonnas. In spring Kira coaches kids’ mountain biking through the Kids of Mud Program with Wolseley Wheels. When she’s not at the pool or on her bike, Kira enjoys riding her horse Ginger.
