

MISS ELLA
Ella has worked at H2O Academy as a Receptionist, Teacher, Supervisor before taking on her role as Training and Development Manager. She is a former artistic (synchronized) swimmer and swam with Winnipeg Artistic Swimming for 4 years, competing with their high-performance team for 2 years. After retiring from her synchro career, she coached with Winnipeg Artistic Swimming for 3 years. The highlight of her coaching career was her 10U team taking home a gold medal at the Canadian Prairie Championship.
She has loved the water her whole life and has been swimming since she was a baby. She strives to share her love for the water with swimmers of all ages and keeps learning positive and fun. Ella also loves to praise all progress big or small and enjoys seeing her students become stronger, more confident swimmers every class. Ella builds connections with students and parents to help her teach each student in a way that will help them achieve their full potential.
Ella is currently continuing her education in French and pursuing an arts degree at the University of St. Boniface. She plans to go on to grad school there in the Faculty of Education. She enjoys spending time with her 3-legged dog and 2 ball pythons Effie and Harold and loves to read!
