Abby has loved the water since she was young and has been swimming her whole life. She recently graduated form Shaftesbury High school and will be attending the U of M in the fall to study to become a teacher after completing a Bachelors of Science. Abby’s favourite place to be is at her cabin where she spends her time with friends and family boating and swimming in Lake Winnipeg. In her free time, Abby also enjoys volunteering in and outside of school where she can. Her favourite thing to do in her time away from school and the pool is spending time with her friends. Abby has also taken multiple CPR and Lifesaving classes including Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, Assistant Lifeguard and is a certified Water Safety Instructor. Her goal as a teacher is to help her students enjoy their time in the water as much as she does.
